If it was left up to GeeGee Leisster to tell her story—she’d probably say she’s messed up everything she ever tried and some things she didn’t try. Her reason for fleeing the big city in fear of her life was not one of those mess-ups, but surely the most dangerous thing she ever did. Haunted by a contract on her life, a guilt ridden past and the relentless affections of Inspector Reed Kefing, GeeGee learns a menacing lesson in the little beachfront town where she takes refuge—she can no more hide from her life, than she can her dreams.
