Alicia was initially charged with sabotage by her superior to cover his failure to allow her to prevent the accident. Based on a second dream, she escaped the Brig to save the ship from a riot of the ship's conscripted convicts. Led by her dreams, Alicia discovered an ore that purified both the crippled ship's air and Earth's atmosphere, and a new alloy that launched Earth's trans-light fleet. After her return from Eden, Alicia auctioned orphaned, dinosaur babies to Earth's zoos to fund several future space flights. Many anti-Christian evolutionists joined the return voyage to the planet Eden because their pet theory was threatened in many ways by the mere existence of that planet.
