This full canopy bed hides a rolling trundle, so two children sleep within one footprint. The main deck carries 600-lb and the trundle 200-lb, both on plywood slats that stay quiet when someone turns over. Casters let the lower bed glide out for a sleepover and tuck back beneath the frame. Use a 6-in mattress on the full bed and something under 6-in on the trundle so it clears the rails. Four posts rise 72-in for drapes or string lights, and no box spring is required on either level.
