The internal cavity measures 29.5 by 14 by 12 inches. What separates a cart from a chest is the second surface. A bottom storage shelf measuring 30 by 14.5 inches runs the full length underneath, holding cups, bottles, tools or other supplies within easy reach instead of on the ground beside it. Above, the lift-top lid is removable entirely, so the whole interior opens for access to chilled drinks and there is no partial lid to reach around when the cooler is full.
