Twenty-five inches tall puts the screen higher than a standard 18 to 20 in console, which is what makes this one work in a bedroom where the television is watched from bed rather than from a sofa. A woven storage basket slides into the frame for the things that should not be on display - chargers, remotes, spare cables. The 55 x 16 in top carries 110 lbs and screens to 65 in, with 22 lbs per shelf. Engineered wood and MDF sit on a steel frame at a total weight of 60 lbs. The same height also suits a hallway used as a console table.
