A metal grid panel runs behind the shelves with 6 removable hooks for headphones, cables, keys, or a tote bag, keeping the desktop clear of the small items that usually pile up. Below it the open compartment measures 27.5-in by 19.5-in with 6.5-in of bottom clearance, enough for a monitor measuring up to 32-in across. The top shelf spans 35.5-in and carries 45 lb, while the remaining shelves take 11 lb each. Adjustable foot pads level the 21-lb frame on an uneven desk, and 2 anti-tipping kits secure it against knocks.
