A one-person inflatable float tube measuring 53 by 43 by 21 inches with a 350 lbs load rating, high enough that a full load of gear rides alongside an adult without pushing the hull down. Buoyancy is the point of that rating, and the high quality polyester and PVC shell is what sustains it season after season rather than going porous. Two adjustable shoulder straps clip on to carry the whole boat to a launch that no trailer reaches, and once afloat, two more shoulder straps on either side of the seat hold the paddler secure in position. A net behind the seat holds a big fish, storage bags on both sides swallow gear and tools, a ruler on the tube measures a catch, and velcro straps secure a rod when both hands are busy. Everything needed comes with it: an aluminum paddle, two PP flippers for hands-free propulsion, a rod holder, two fish hook stators, a pump and a repair kit. Inflation and deflation are both rapid, so the tube goes from bag to water and back without a long setup on either end. At 16 lbs it is genuinely portable, and the camouflage, beige, grey and green finishes suit quiet water. Because the paddle, flippers and pump all pack down with the deflated hull, the whole outfit travels as one load rather than several.
