The seat cushion is thick and wide with a waterfall front edge, filled with high-density sponge, and that curved edge is what keeps the leading edge from cutting into the underside of the thigh through hours of sitting. Two controls handle the movement. A lifting lever locks or frees the height on a premium gas lift, and a rocking tension knob sets the backrest resistance tight or loose to suit body weight.
