Cushions match that intent: 3.5 inches thick under the seat and 6.5 inches behind the back, thickened rather than token, and covered in Olefin, a fiber picked for how it feels against bare skin through a long sit. Smooth zippers let every cover come off for cleaning, and fixing ties with hook and loop fasteners hold each cushion to its frame so nothing shifts when you stand. The frame is aluminum, which is the reason the set is described as weatherproof and also why it comes to only 36 lbs in total, light enough to move one piece at a time.
