This kit includes 5D diamonds, a full drill picture on silk or cotton canvas, poured-on adhesive, a placement pen, wax for the placement pen, a diamond holder tray, tweezers, extra diamond bags. Smaller sizes are best for beginners, but this makes a great gift or new hobby for anyone over 8! How does it work? The canvas holds the corresponding number or symbol for each diamond color provided in the kit. The diamond artist peels back a portion of the plastic wrap on top of the canvas to allow for diamond placement. The placement pen is dipped into the wax to allow it to stick to the diamonds (this is not done every time, only when the diamonds stop sticking to the placement pen). The diamonds being used are poured into the diamond holder tray and picked up with the placement pen, then placed onto the uncovered area of the canvas. The adhesive on the canvas sticks to the diamond, releasing it from the placement pen. The corresponding number on the canvas is covered when the diamond is placed over it, showing only the sparkling color on top!
