This Grammar Booklet has been designed as an accompaniment to Spanish Sentence Builders - TRILOGY - Part 1. It is divided into 15 units, each with a matching Sentence Builder from the main Trilogy book.Each unit focuses on one Main Grammar Focus, which is explained and then taught via an array of engaging Conti, EPI, vocab building, translation and writing tasks. There are also a number of Pop-up Grammar sections to teach other key elements required for linguistic proficiency. Assessment Rounds feature at the end of each unit, to help assess the learning of the grammar points covered.Some of the activities included are: Match-up Break the flow Faulty translation Slalom translation Tangled translation Gap-fill activities Oral Ping Pong No Snakes No Ladders Fast & Furious These tasks and games are devised so as to scaffold understanding and the ability to produce the target language correctly by gradually moving from highly structured tasks to semi-structured ones.
