Since its first issue was published in 2007, The Southern Way has become the acknowledged definitive journal on the history and heritage of the Southern Railway and the Southern Region of British Railways. Now under the editorship of Peter Waller, as always, four issues will be published in the course of 2023. Each contains a mixture of articles and photo features on various aspects of the SR including rolling stock, infrastructure, operations and personalities.
