Vulnerability has never been easy for me. I learnt to be strong from seeing the strength of my mother. I grew up seeing her withstand the storms with perseverance, determination, faith and a hard independent shell. I've learnt writing exposes you to yourself which has allowed me to open up in ways I never have. My walls are not completely down but daily as I draw closer to God I am experiencing the peace that comes with being open and vulnerable.Forgiveness, is the first in the series of Sometimes I Forget to Breathe. It is a short read that goes through the emotional roller coaster of a broken relationship between a father and daughter. It addresses issues of abandonment, anger, anxiety, disappointment, hopelessness, regret and unforgiveness. It's an expression of raw emotions that may touch the hearts of those who have ever experienced a broken relationship or currently experiencing one. The series inspires peace that's found in forgiveness allowing us to once again Breathe.
