11 year old Jaxon mysteriously receives a pair of WWII German Jack boots for his birthday. Once he tries them on he begins to have dreams and flashbacks of the soldiers life. For the next 6 years he keeps a dream log of what the soldier goes through during his patrol in 1942 Warsaw Poland Jewish Ghetto. Meanwhile, in another city. Janet receives a pair of costly woman's shoes that once belonged to a high end prostitute. Once she places them on her feet, she has nightly dreams and flashbacks of the prostitutes life, work and son. The prostitute is murdered leaving behind her 4 year old son, Jaxon. The same Jaxon that later receives the the German boots.Her murder is never solved and goes into the cold case files. It is now up to Janet to push forward and investigate to see if her dreams have any meaning or truth.
