Bruce Walker has packed much into his life. He wanted to be an engineer but became a mathematics teacher, studied law for a while, then worked as a School Psychologist for forty two years. He still learns French. He describes himself as a true Corinthian: self taught yacht designer, yacht and boat builder, house builder, navigator, mechanic, welder, carpenter, and now, novelist. He loves to travel, sailing his self designed and built yacht to the South Pacific; Canal boat charters exploring the canals of the Netherlands, France and the Lagoon of Venice, yacht charters in the Ionian and Dodecanese Islands; riding motorcycles to every state of Australia and from Las Vegas to Salt lake City via the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota. Bruce has stood on the battlefields of Culloden, Omaha Beach, Vimy Ridge and Anzac Cove at Gallipoli. He has been President of two motorcycle clubs and Commodore of a yacht Club. He is a prolific writer, cartoonist and illustrator and has edited Newsletters for School Psychologists (ten years), for the Coastal Cruising Club of Australia (eleven years), and for the Hills Ulysses Club. He has travelled from New York to Paris, St.Petersberg, Rome, London, Dubai, Bangkok, Cologne, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Suva and Macchu Picchu in Peru and many other places, always accompanied by his loyal wife of fifty four years, Cynthia. They have three children, six grandchildren and live in Sydney Australia. Bruce still sails and leads regular motorcycle rides.
