In 1956... or perhaps it was 1949... an ensemble of Esteemed British Scholars, Theatrical Garden Gnomes and skilful Hedgehog Field & Hedgerow Agents gathered to discuss and document the perfectly normal goings-on in the English Village of Bogglington Hollow.
After finding the original documents in a rather unusual fashion, the Royal Bogglington Hollow Museum has faithfully restored and reproduced this extraordinary bundle of
sixty or so aged, weathered and jumbled up pages of meeting minutes, letters and illustrated field notes (haphazardly typed by an anciently haunted typewriter) documenting:
The Curious Case of the Musical Vegetable Patch
(The vegetables have been humming Danse Macabre, of all things, in a far more unusual fashion than usual. But we haven't the foggiest why. Although the skull from the documentary may indeed be the prime suspect).
That Peculiar Predicament with the Haunted Post
(Who on earth sent them? And why in the blazers do they keep plotting with the envelopes, for goodness sake?)
The Dubious Case of the Meddling Marmalade
(ruining one's breakfast is simply not cricket! But making it run down the hall? That takes the cake!)
A Word of Warning:
Best read with proper tea and biscuits and the occasional tilting of one's head.
Reproduced by the Royal Bogglington Hollow Museum
Complete with scuffing, margin notes and pages who may have shuffled out of order.
P.S.
If your marmalade, post, tea or toast start to run amok after reading, please do refer to the relevant documentation within. The Sleepy Hedgehog Society has encountered this sort of thing umpteen times.
