The Shadows on the Carpet Trilogy is a compilation of darker poems, many of which are multi-layer relationship/social/political commentaries - dark shadows from the past expressed in varying shades of gray where the past meets the future as memories in the present. This first book in the series is the descent into the abyss. Separated into three sections, Shadows, Visions and Luna-Cy, this book contains the most directly written social/political commentary with relationship undertones.
