In books I and II Elvis Apolliani has overcome a plague of obstacles and is finally on his way back, to right the unjust exile to Earth, but to what end? It's a planet not too unlike our own Earth, but there is one very major difference, and the difference is in the population. Readers will appreciate this conclusion if for no other reason it parallels in many ways the changing prospects for us in the 21st century for a resolution to war and to dismay about future existence.
