Today is Saturday, and that means Safari!
Elliott has waited all week for this adventure. He jumps out of bed, throws on his safari gear, and grabs his camera. Maybe today he'll see an animal he's never seen before like a crocodile or a rhinoceros. If he does, he'll have to be quick to snap a picture and add it to his prized collection.

Yes? Great! Grab your safari gear and don't forget the sunscreen. But let me warn you, Elliott has a crazy, wild imagination. What he sees isn't always what it appears to be.

Note for adults: Saturday Safari is a book about encouraging the use of imagination to see the world differently. When you read it with your child, ask them to describe common objects in a new light. Perhaps even make up a story to go along with what "could be."
