I wrote this book after years of experience captaining charter sailboat trips and being asked how to sail by people who have never sailed before. I would sometimes have days to teach them, and other times only a few hours. This represents my method on learning to sail quickly and simply. The methods in this book can be used on boats ranging from a 5 foot dingy all the way up to a 40 foot cruiser, or even bigger."
