Little Sap was born in the mountains and cared for by Carrie, the tree farmer. As Little Sap grew, Carrie would say, " When the wind blows, stand TALL. Let your roots grab the dirt so you won't fall. When Little Sap was big enough they were gifted to the Selle family. Little Sap loved the family and the yard. Then one day it started raining and didn't stop. They watched the creek rise and other trees fall but Little Sap stood tall. When the Selle family came home, Little Sap was safe and standing. Erin gave Little Sap the new name of Resilient.
