And they may not be without some reason for thus feeling for I am well aware that there are many omissions and may be many errors, in names, dates, dbc. But taking into consideration the fact that no records have been kept in writing in most °of the families and that the history here presented covers a period of 150 years, more or less, is it to be wondered at that some things are not mentioned.
