The experiences of anything or anyone new brings with it the good, bad, and ugly. As you accept this new thing, new day, or new way, check your focus. How long you feel sad or sorry for yourself is determined by your focus. To concentrate steadily on what's wrong is to remain distracted. Directing your attention to what is good and right is to remember that you are precious in His sight, and this too will pass. Go ahead and process what you're feeling, then escape into the presence of God. In return, receive joy; His joy will be your strength.
