This collection of short stories has been condensed from longer works in The Black Pony Series. It was inspired by the art submitted by an entire class of kindergarten and first grade art students who responded to a contest. Choosing just one sketch was not an option, and so this book was born. Each story is illustrated by an aspiring young artist who had the courage to draw a picture even knowing the world would be viewing it. Wouldn't it be a fine thing if more of us had the confidence of a child. A portion of the proceeds from this book will go back to the community to further education opportunities.
