I am inspired mostly by nature. Farmers markets especially remind me of my upbringing in Brazil, the unusual tropical fruits with their distinct aromas, textures, and abundance of bright and vibrant colors. It’s subtle guidance from past trips, long hikes, and random encounters that have brought joy and meaning to my life; I try to hold on to the feelings and then express them through my art. Ex: pencil drawing, ink pen, gauche painting, digital drawing, etc. I use ink pens, markers, watercolors, and gauche to add color and digital art programs when creating prints and patterns. Recently, I've fallen in love with screen printing and how imperfect it is.
