In a nightmare than only got worse and worse, I was arrested at the airport and wrongly imprisoned in a Kenyan prison. Denied bail without the opportunity to counter the prosecution's misleading narrative, I spent the next six months in a maximum-security Kenyan lockup, not knowing if I would ever get out. This is the account of my experience, not only what it was like, but also the spiritual crisis I faced as I came to grips not just with what I had never done in terms of the accusations against me, but with who I was with no more props to hide behind.
