This eclectic collection of original nonfiction narrative short stories and essays by Northwest writers was compiled by Eckley Guerin and Patricia Williams. The two retired friends from Astoria, Oregon, became involved in their community, volunteering and helping with various area organizations. Upon discovering a bounty of regional writing talent, the two ladies began a project to gather a collection of stories to publish.
