My First Christmas with Jesus: A Christian Jew's Story of Having Found the Messiah by Harold Spiegel is a booklet with over 2,100 words. Spiegel spent most of his life as a Jew who did not believe in Jesus as the Messiah. He was a successful contractor, real estate broker, engineer and attorney. After examining the Bible in an attempt to discover evidence that the claims about Jesus were false, he instead came to the logical conclusion that what Christians had been saying all along was true. He then became a Jewish Christian.Spiegel tells us his story, touching on his childhood and his later marriage to a gentile. Though he spent many years enjoying Christmas with his wife and her children, it was more of a holiday family event with no real religious significance. This booklet tells about his feeling during his first real Christmas as a Jewish Christian shortly before turning 50 years old. Prior to passing away in 2002 at the age of 55 from cancer, Spiegel wrote this testimony. This is the first time it has been officially published. This booklet also includes a forward by ordained minister Robert Alan King, the stepson of Spiegel.
