Just a place to live, that’s all the house was. She was here, with Larry. She wasn't depressed, wasn't anything, she was just - here. The laughter, the music, their time with Aron, the baby, that was all past. Now was the city, and their move to a place that needed more than a little cleaning. There was nothing more. Then young Ramon walked in the front door and into their life, bringing his own ghost with him, one that was theirs as well as his. And the neighbors, Dora and the others, Sara hadn't counted on neighbors, or ghosts, or new friends, nor Carlos’s ma’s friends. They were present and alive and came in a way Sara couldn't have anticipated, bringing new music and something more, something unexpected - a whole melody of hope.
