This volume contains first four issues of that famous magazine, and celebrate everything MONSTER. From the classics of Lon Chaney, Jr., Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff and others, to the "modern" late 50s starts such as Vincent Price, this is a treasure-trove of the best of the worst that movies had to offer during its heyday. Originally published in 1958 as a one-shot, before long James Warren and Forrest J. Ackerman had a hit on their hands. Now hundreds of issues have been published, although it is now (sadly) more an online endeavor.
