Having survived his war with Julian Thorne, Alex is a changed man—more powerful, more cynical, and more tired. But the cold war truce is shattered by an irresistible temptation: Julian offers to nominate Alex for a seat on the Meridian Council, a secret society of kingmakers who truly control the world. The price of admission? A single, morally repugnant task that goes against everything Alex used to stand for.The offer splits his internal Nullroom in two. Voidseeker, his impulsive and hedonistic side, screams to take the deal, craving the ultimate power and pleasure. Spokesmind, his neurotic and cautious side, is horrified by the catastrophic risk. This internal schism erupts into a hilarious "Odd Couple" sitcom, as Alex's mind becomes a house divided against itself. While trying to navigate a high-stakes initiation involving a brutal dictator and a dangerously sharp CEO, Alex's biggest battle is with himself. House Divided pushes the series' humor to its adult limits, blending high-stakes plotting with a sharp, character-driven comedy about what happens when your inner angel and inner devil go to war for your soul.
