We must conclude these historical notes by a brief reference to the work of the Medical Society in the present war. When the war is over this history should be written in detail, but here we can give only the briefest summary.
Beginning with the creation of the Committee on Medical Resources, which later became the Committee on Military Affairs, practically every member of the Medical Society has been in volved in some capacity in the war effort. The following is a brief summary of what the Society has accomplished.
