With even more experimental poetry than the previous collection, "Mausoleums of the Eye and other poems" gives readers a surrealistic look at topics like loss of a friend, doubting one's self-worth, and longing to return to childhood. This collection stresses the importance of being honest with oneself about true feelings, and coming to terms with realities that have either faded with time or will never be.
