Jenny Sullivan, Eric's first love who is separated from her husband, moves back to Philadelphia. She befriends Eric's sister GiGi who is the president of the Anti-Syrena Fan Club. Together, they plot to tear Eric and Syrena apart.
Scott Henson, Syrena's friend from college who is secretly in love with her, returns to Philadelphia for one reason and one reason only: make Syrena his and no one - especially Eric - is going to stand in his way.
Eric and Syrena must decide what is best for them as a couple and as individuals, or if they should consider exploring other options. They are forced into situations that cause the reexamination of themselves, their decisions, and their future.
