Michael Patrick Dunlap, my second son, was only twenty years old and attending the Indiana University of Pennsylvania when his life changed forever. These college years should have been some of the best years of his life. Having to worry about cancer should not have been his main concern. His goal was to become a college professor after completing both his master’s and PhD programs. This is my son Michael’s story. He had hoped to write a book himself, but brain cancer had other plans.
