Liminal Spaces is a collection of poems and visual arts created by residents of and around Anne Arundel County. The work is the result of collaborative efforts to create powerful visual arts with poetry infused into the body of the work. This is not art inspired poetry or poetry inspired art, but the merging of poetry and art for one collaborative purpose. The poets in the Words on the Thirds Poetry Project and the artists of the South County Arts Lab came together to dissolve the boundaries between literary and visual arts, to build community, and to call attention to the importance of coming and working together.
