An apocalyptic tale of how a nuclear bomb separates and destroys one family. Events just before the bomb places the main character Brad and his family in jeopardy. Their fight to survive and the problems of just being alive in a city gone mad.
The love and animosity that occurs tear the family apart and he is unable to restore his family. Not sure if his wife is dead or alive, Brad sets out to create a new home for the family he acquired. Most are not stable, borderline insanity caused by events that happened in their lives. This is his struggle to find a new home where killing is not an every day fact of life.
