"Life's a Picnic, Then Come the Ants," is an appealing book that describes many of the touching and often humorous lessons that we can learn from animals. Not only will you laugh at the antics of the animal characters or sigh at the trouble they get into, but each chapter brings out an important lesson that God teaches us from looking at His marvelous creation. Young and old alike will smile at the antics of a young kitten who accidently jumps into a bathtub full of water, or cheer a baby bird on as he tentatively takes his first flight. Not only will the stories make you smile, but the lessons learned from each story will resonate with many of us, no matter the age, as we struggle to learn the teachings of Christ and grow closer to Him each day.
