Lifa enjoys her first months of life. Still living as an unborn baby. The warmth of her mother's body engulf her. Somthing pulls her from her content life. A force pulling her full attention singularly in one direction. Providing memories. Form former lifes. Form errors better not repeated this time. Lifa resists the pull until her mother's pulse picks up. Who threatens her, pregnant with her, mother. Loud shouting reaches through the skin to Lifa's ears. She must decide to either take action or die unborn. A Merchant Universe short story. And an electrifying tale of an unborn baby, whose choice will shape the future of the continent.
