Voice of Idle Mind Welcome you one and all into a journey of my mind Though altered and questioning, thought-provoking I hope youll find Random snaps put to verse, how good, youll be the judge But one thing I can promise, reader, opinion doesnt smudge I am a freak, some might say. I do not meet the norm Though however, do I hope, in words I can perform I like to think Ive got a slant, a change of common views I take inspiration from day to dayI take it from the news So bear with me as I attempt to entertain you with my verse I hope to question, create a thought, and free me from my curse Too much time in sitting round, an escape I think youll find Put pen to paper, and I say out loud, Voice of idle mind Ian Wilcox
