What would you say?
At some point in life, we all go through days of pain, joy, love, or uncertainty. Sometimes we question our faith and beliefs. Occasionally, we rage against the odds, wishing for the impossible to become reality and take us away from the agony of having no control over the events that affect us in this reality.
The unknown plagues our hearts. We know that something in our lives does not feel like it should. We have questions and want answers, but they rarely come. A world of seemingly disconnected thoughts floods our soul, but those who are with us on this journey are not always willing to stop and listen to us. Whether out of disbelief, selfishness, or simply because they are also seeking the same thing we are.
"Letters to Gaia" was born when I wondered what it would be like to talk to someone who could listen to us and welcome us without belittling our experiences and feelings. Someone whose love was so great that it encompassed all of humanity and who did not shy away from granting us the morning delicacies of their wisdom and the freshness of their patience.
In this book, the letters talk about people like you and me, and how they deal with what happens in their lives. We see gain, loss, and grief. The search for meaning in life. The encounters and misunderstandings of broken hearts and those courageously hopeful who still seek true love. We will see values, dilemmas, and fads parade through the letters, inviting us to enjoy moments of fun or reflection. Sometimes even reminding us of the need to care for others.
"Letters to Gaia" is not just a book. It is a safe space where silenced voices find an echo. It is a way of giving visibility to those stories that often remain hidden in the shadows of our families. They are stories of courage, vulnerability, and resilience.
