In the turbulent waves of life we find ourselves drowning in emotional, financial, health or many other possibilities. When we encounter all that we can handle we must choose. Either we push ourselves away from Jesus or we draw nigh unto His leadership.
Yielding to the Master Helmsman is central to overcoming the anxieties, depression and perplexities of the storm. Oceans of tears flow down our cheeks. Our souls cringe with fallen countenance. Yet, there is hope.
We may not be able to survive on our own.
The Captain of our salvation does not want to go down with the ship we're in. Rather by His supernatural providence He will take the helm of our lives and bring us to the shore of the city we have been promised - if we just trust God and the Spirit of salvation.
