In 2010 Terri Louise suffered an industrial accident. She took a long ambulance ride to the hospital, only to be kicked out hours later because she had no insurance and only "back pain". The doctor refused her tests and would not accept the workman's compensation as her way to pay. She suffered two weeks in bed waiting for the swelling to recede to have a vital surgery to her spine. During this period her EX-husband sued her for custody of their son. Her attorney refused to help her and would not let an associate assist her either. A month later her son moved into a home with an abusive passive aggressive alcoholic and Terri started writing. With little to no money, she needed therapy to get through this disaster and words were all she had. Born from her recovery bed, came the "Diaries of a Damaged Soul" series.
