Eric Scheidly has taught university and high school physics for nearly thirty years. In that span, countless hours of audio recordings and board photographs from live lectures have been collected. Lectures on Physics - Volume I: Mechanics is a carefully curated transcription of those lectures that distills the wisdom, wit, and insight that comes from a long career of describing the nature of our universe. The first of three volumes, this calculus-based text would be valued by a student beginning a career in the sciences, particularly physics, as much as it would serve as a guide to the instructor interested in a fresh approach to presenting challenging topics. Much of the audio that gave rise to this text is presented on the Physics Fundamentalized YouTube channel. Readers will likely find the audio an excellent companion to the text and vice-versa.
