1:1 En el principio creó Dios los cielos y la tierra.
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
1:2 Y la tierra estaba desordenada y vacía; y las tinieblas cubrían la faz del abismo. Y el Espíritu de Dios se movía sobre la faz de las aguas.
1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
1:3 Y dijo Dios: Hágase la luz, y fue la luz.
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4 Y vio Dios la luz, que era buena, y separó Dios la luz de las tinieblas.
1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
1:5 Y llamó Dios a la luz Día, y a las tinieblas llamó Noche. Y la tarde y la mañana fueron el primer día.
