From Kosta Boda, this vase features: Iris is a collection of miniature vases covering the full-color spectrum of the rainbow, inspired by unique works from Erika Lagerbielke's own exhibition ‘Blue Planet’ presented at Galleri Glas in Stockholm and at Kosta Boda Art Gallery in 2022 (both in Sweden). The name Iris is that of the rainbow goddess in Greek mythology. Handblown in Kosta, Sweden, the drop-shaped vases use a multi-colored underlay and optical pattern. A technique that secures variation in the thickness of the glass during the hot shop process. The result adds life and playful vividness to the glass.
