Among Jolly's many friends are an angry, macho rooster from Mexico, a kind, sensitive, cross-dressing Lizard, two beautiful ducks, Tuk from Thailand and Francesca from Italy that love Carlos, the charming, debonaire rooster from Spain, a clumsy Squirrel named Max, Cookie And Chocolate, the related cats and a somewhat sad and hyper musical mouse from Russia that lost his family shortly before fleeing to the United States where he met Jolly and the others. Rain, the middle aged, housewife, human, (angel, ) while unconscious, after hitting her head, goes back into the past. While able to relive her childhood again lifelong lessons are learned and incorporated into the story.
