Kids (and adults) of a certain age will always remember what time it is - IT'S HOWDY DOODY TIME! The popular TV kids' show ran from 1947-1960, so it was a favorite of kids from the Great Depression and through the Baby Boomer years. The star, of course, was the puppet HOWDY DOODY himself, aided and abetted by Buffalo Bob Smith, Clarabelle The Clown and many other classic characters. In the comics HOWDY ran for 40 hilarious issues, and the first issue has the distinction of being the very first TV-based comic book! There will never be another HOWDY DOODY, but that's okay, because Gwandanaland Comics has the largest collection of his comic series ever assembled, so HOWDY will always be with us!
