Shari Darlene Helms (1941-2011) was a talented homemaker, wonderfulmother, and dedicated wife. She started developing vegetariandinners in the late 1970s, specializing in veggie burgers by the late 1990s. She always said that God had helped her develop her recipes and thisbook is the best of those delicious creations. She passed away muchtoo soon from serious heart problems and is survived today by herhusband John, who has completed this work which she began, andher loving family. She is asleep in Jesus, waiting for Him to meether in the air (1Thessalonians 4:16-17)!
