After the roller coaster Tammy went through she managed to get her life on track. Determined to make life better for her, Anna, her four year old daughter, Tammy heads off to college in hopes of becoming a RN. With Rah in jail, Quan wasted no time getting close to Tammy. Offering moral and financial support, Quan aided Tammy during the remainder of her pregnancy, being a father figure to Anna. Tammy thought they would be on the right track to success but things turned out differently for the two. They say with more money comes more problems and that becomes the case with Quan. He thought he had everything mapped out with the streets but with old skeletons in his closet threatening to exposed themselves, Quan finds himself in boiling water. With the good works of his lawyer Rah is finally a free man. Dreams of reuniting with his family is shattered once he finds out that Tammy is with Quan. Hearing the news sent him over the edge but that didn't stop him from putting up competition with Quan on the streets. With someone still out to make sure Tammy doesn't win will Tammy and Rah live happily ever after or will the street life and people ruin them for good
